The first paper machine at the Missoula mill to install the trim device was the No. 2 machine. After a very short time, it became evident that this was something we wanted on all three paper machines. It gives ease of deckle width adjustment, at very low risk of encountering runnability problems during change. Operators are very pleased with the equipment and it has enhanced safety for the operators as well as the machine clothing. This is definitely a "big plus" in every respect for the paper machine operations and the operators.
