Tips and Pointers
 |
| 1) |
To decrease splashback on the trim nozzle, place it over a vacuum box. If you want a double stream nozzle to fit in the vacuum slot use our parallel stream nozzle
(see products/doubles/stream detail) |
| 2) |
The most common reason for trim nozzle failure is poor water quality. Proper water filtering is critical for optimum nozzle performance. |
| 3) |
The most effective trim nozzle set-up is realized by aiming the stream slightly toward the outside of the wire and slightly toward the dry end of the machine. |
| 4) |
To minimize sweating on the pipe, consider using trim water at stock temperature. |
| 5) |
Extreme care must be taken with application of teflon tape when changing a nozzle. To avoid plugging the small orifice with teflon tape, do not apply tape over the end of the last thread. |
